Infrastructure

HTEC is a market leader in North American clean hydrogen infrastructure solutions, taking carbon out of the transportation equation.

Under our Hydrogen Infrastructure platform, we develop, own, and operate hydrogen production facilities, distribution systems, and fueling stations in key local markets.

01

BC Hydrogen Fueling Station Network

HTEC opened Canada’s first retail hydrogen fueling station in June 2018 to launch a multi-station network to support the first FCEVs rolling onto BC roads. Four stations are open for business, with two more in late-stage development (design, procurement, and permitting) and eight in early-stage development, including two heavy-duty-capable stations, bringing our total station count to 12.

02

California Retail Station & Onsite Electrolyzer

HTEC’s station in Woodside, California has an onsite electrolyzer with the capacity to produce up to 40 kilograms hydrogen per day. The station is expected to open in 2021.

03

Quebec Retail Network

HTEC has two retail hydrogen stations in design and construction, and two in later stage development. All are expected to be open in 2022. Four additional stations are in early-stage development.

04

Hydrogen Production Facilities

HTEC has a local green hydrogen supply agreement in place, and our own electrolysis production facilities in development: one under construction and the other in detailed engineering and procurement. These facilities will provide hydrogen to HTEC’s network of fueling stations and help decarbonize local natural gas use.

05

PowerCube Hydrogen Distribution System

HTEC’s 450-bar modular hydrogen storage system – approved by Transport Canada and the US Department of Transportation – can be used for transportation or ground storage.
