Big news out of Seoul yesterday, with Hyundai revealing its long-term roadmap for fuel cell technology–Fuel Cell Vision 2030– and reaffirming its commitment to the development of a hydrogen society. And it’s not just about Hyundai’s light-duty automotive program. The roadmap also outlines plans for the company to supply fuel cell systems to manufacturers of automobiles, drones, vessels, rolling stocks, forklifts and power generators. Hyundai aims to produce 700,000 fuel cell systems annually by 2030 including 500,000 units for FCEVs.
